Many quality farm products remain “hidden in the countryside,” while urban consumers search in vain for authentic specialties. This inspired us to build a digital highway connecting the two: a customized e-commerce mini program.
Product from 0 to 1: I started with user research and contributed to planning and designing a platform with unified branding, standardized products, and simple interfaces.
Technical implementation: I developed the front-end framework and managed API integration. The system linked directly with local logistics: village orders were delivered by local station managers, while external orders entered national shipping networks — creating a full “buy nationwide, sell nationwide” loop.
Data-driven operation: After launch, I monitored key metrics like page views, orders, and product dwell time to uncover consumer behavior. Adjustments to packaging and promotions led to immediate sales growth.
Empowering communities: Most meaningfully, the platform helped vulnerable groups such as local women, and people with disabilities sell their specialties. Technology became a warm force for rural revitalization.
Ultimately, the mini program reached hundreds of thousands of users, proving that a well-designed digital product can truly bridge urban-rural divides.
